Snowy Care is a childcare management platform operated by ZYEYZ LLC dba Snowy Care ("we," "us," or "our"), a Montana limited liability company. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our platform at care.snowy.work.

Information We Collect

Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, organization name, and role (e.g., director, teacher, parent).

Child and Family Data: To provide our services, centers enter information about enrolled children, including names, dates of birth, allergies, emergency contacts, authorized pickup persons, and attendance records.

Payment Information: Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers or bank account details on our servers. We retain only transaction records (amounts, dates, and status) for billing purposes.

Usage Data: We automatically collect information about how you interact with our platform, including pages visited, features used, browser type, device information, and IP address.

Communications: When you contact us via our contact form or email, we retain the content of those communications.

How We Use Your Information

  • Provide, maintain, and improve our childcare management platform
  • Process transactions and send billing notifications
  • Send service-related communications (e.g., attendance alerts, compliance notifications)
  • Respond to your inquiries and support requests

Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

Snowy Care is a business tool for childcare providers, not a service directed at children. Children do not create accounts or interact with our platform directly. However, because our platform stores information about children entered by childcare providers:

  • Child data is entered and managed solely by authorized center staff and parents
  • We do not collect information directly from children
  • We do not use children's personal information for marketing or advertising
  • Center administrators can access, correct, or delete child records at any time
  • Child data is deleted when a center cancels their subscription (after the 30-day export window)

Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only in these circumstances:

  • Service Providers: We use Stripe for payment processing and SendGrid for transactional email. These providers have their own privacy policies and are contractually obligated to protect your data.
  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or government request.
  • Business Transfers: If ZYEYZ LLC dba Snowy Care is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction.

Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information:

  • Encryption for data at rest
  • TLS encryption for data in transit
  • Daily encrypted backups
  • Role-based access controls within the platform
  • Regular security assessments and monitoring

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you cancel your subscription:

  • Your data remains accessible in read-only mode for 30 days
  • During this period, you can export all data in CSV or JSON format
  • After 30 days, all data is permanently and irreversibly deleted

  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete information
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Export your data in standard formats (CSV, JSON)
  • Withdraw consent for optional data processing

Changes to This Policy
